The TRIAD Treatment Program is an innovative Non-Residential treatment program offered exclusively by Tampa Crossroads, Inc. aimed at
decreasing DUIs and the risk factors associated with repeated DUI offenses. The TRIAD Treatment program is
anticipated to have a significant impact on DUI recidivism, on the public's awareness of the dangers and
consequences of impaired driving, and most importantly, on reducing the number of lives lost as a result
of alcohol related traffic accidents. Although maintenance of a drug and alcohol abstinent lifestyle is
essential and mandatory for participation in this treatment program for the repeat DUI offenders, we will
move away from the traditional substance abuse treatment philosophy and instead focus our attention primarily
on identifying and correcting the errors in thinking which all of these individuals have exhibited and used
to support continuation of their criminal behavior. The TRIAD Treatment Program provides services to clients
who have been convicted of DUI, or has a high B.A.C. on arrest (without causing death or serious injury).
The amount of time the individual spends in the program will depend on his or her individual treatment needs, but we estimate an approximate time for the clients to accomplish these goals would be 3 to 5 months. All participants in the TRIAD Treatment Program are required to pay towards the cost of their treatment.
